PRESENT TENSES
           
 Present tense is a part of tenses which tell us about events or activities that has a connection to time. the form of present tense can be divided into 4:

Simple Present Tense
Present Continuous Tense
Present Perfect Tense
Present Perfect Continuous Tense

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

a.     Positive Sentence

Subject
Predicate
Complement
He
She
It
Noun (Singular)

b.     Usage

Simple present tense are use to tell a habitual action that is still been doing until now. Activities like this use adverb of frequency ex: always, usually, often, seldom, etc. and use every day ,every week ,every month ,every  year, etc.

Example :

-         Ali goes to the mosque every day
-         They watch TV every night
-         I often write a letter to my grandmother
-         Mrs. Fina hardly speaks Javanese

Simple present tense is also use for telling things that is general truth

Example:
-         Water freezes at 0 degrees Celsius
-         Children need love and attention
-         The earth revolves around the sun
-         Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius

c.      Negative  Sentence

Subject + do/does + not + verb1 + object/complement

Example :

-         Water doesn’t freeze at 36 degrees Celsius
-         Gina doesn’t play tennis every week

d.     Interrogative Sentence

Do/does + subject + verb1 + object/complement

Example :

-         Does water freeze at 0 degrees Celsius? Yes it does.
