Student Exchange is
one of school program with a school in another country. Some countries
that usually cooperate with schools in Indonesia are Singapore,
Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Japan and America. This program is held
to make a tight bond between two schools with so many different
backgrounds, to introduce our unique culture to them and also to know
more about their culture, making some relation or new friends, learn how
they are studying at their school, I mean like comparing their
curriculum with us, and the important reason why we must try this
experience is to be more fluent and brave in speaking eEglish. To be one
of the participant in this program, there is usually an interview about
our knowledge of the country that we want to visit, how far we know
about the recent situation, and also about the government. Then if we
get accepted we must prepare our stuff. One of them is a passport, it's a
must. For the fee, each school has a various price and different with
other school. In the country we do not always study, but we will also
visit some famous places there, historical sites, and places for having
fun. How long do we stay there? It has many option, but for the
short-term program it will take one week or two weeks, while for the
long-term it will take 6 months or the longest one usually take until 1
year. There are so many useful and unforgettable experiences we can
reach by joining this program. I'm sure it will be great as my
experience last year, I'm one of the participant of Student Exchange
Program to Pioneer Secondary School - Singapore. So why not ? Try it if
